Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This pre-launch website has no account, contact form, newsletter, analytics, advertising pixels, or non-essential cookies. The early-access button does not send or store personal data.
1. Who is responsible
The project owner and data controller is Alin Daniel Epure, EarnBack project. A dedicated privacy email address will be added before EarnBack collects information directly from visitors.
2. Data processed on this preview
This site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, user agent, referrer, and security events under its privacy statement. EarnBack does not receive visitor analytics from this build.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Delivering and securing the website: legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure service.
- Complying with legal obligations: where records must be retained or disclosed by law.
- Optional future services: consent will be requested before newsletters, analytics, advertising, or other optional processing is activated where consent is required.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The current site does not set cookies or use local storage, analytics, profiling, or advertising technology. See the Cookie Policy. Optional technologies will not be loaded before the required consent is obtained.
5. Recipients, processors, and transfers
The site is delivered by GitHub, Inc. through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical data in the United States and other countries using the transfer safeguards described in its privacy statement and related documentation. No analytics, mailing-list, advertising, or embedded-media provider is integrated.
6. Retention
EarnBack stores no visitor data. Technical hosting logs are controlled by GitHub under its published terms and retention practices.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the competent supervisory authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
8. Children
This preview is not designed to collect data from children. Age rules for the future app will be defined before accounts or payments are enabled.
9. Future EarnBack app
The iPhone app will receive a separate, product-specific privacy notice before launch. The current design goal is to keep raw activity and precise route data on the device where possible, minimize backend data, avoid advertising use, and provide account export and deletion controls.
10. Changes
Material changes will be dated on this page. If a change requires consent, the relevant processing will remain disabled until consent is obtained.
This notice covers only the static website. A verified privacy email and separate app-specific notice will be published before EarnBack collects registrations, account, activity, location, or payment information.
